Can people in today's world have hope?

Gods power can make us secure.

   For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

Gods power results in change.

  Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

Sin makes change necessary.

   for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

  Romans 3:23 (NKJV)

God still loves us.

  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Sin earns death but God Gives Life.

   For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Confess, Repent, Believe, Call

9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."

12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.

13 For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved."

  Dear Jesus, I know that you are the only son of God, and that you died on the cross and was raised from the dead, because I have sinned and need forgiveness.  I ask you Jesus to save me. Please come into my heart.  I am willing to change the direction of my life by acknowledging You as my Savior and Lord and by turning away from my sins.  Thank you Jesus for giving me forgiveness, eternal life, and hope.  Through your name, Amen.

Now we have hope.

16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
